Why we built it

People could read and study a language, but froze the moment they had to speak.

Tooter was started by a small team at Viral Patterns LLC who saw the same problem in every language learner they knew: people could read and study a language but froze the moment they had to speak.

Apps were passive, and human tutors were scheduled, expensive, and could feel judging. So the team built a patient AI conversation partner you can talk to any time, which corrects you without breaking the flow.

Tooter provides opportunities to practice and review. Learning progress depends on your starting point, practice, and use of the language beyond the app. We do not guarantee fluency, exam results, or a particular learning outcome.

AI-generated transcripts, translations, explanations, and corrections can be inaccurate or incomplete. Treat them as learning guidance and check uncertain points with a reliable reference or a qualified teacher. Progress indicators in the app are for personal learning, not formal language certification.
